Only God’s Way Has No Price to Pay
It is not just a catchy slogan. It really is true. When we deviate from God’s plan and God’s design for sexuality, there is always a price to pay. That price can be found in a broken relationship, in a disease, spiritual distance from God or emotional baggage that lingers on. We’ve been hammering that home Sundays at Crossroads Church.
The more I think about this topic, the more I realize that this isn’t limited to sexual sin. All sin has this kind of damaging effect. All deviation from God’s plan bring pain. If nothing else, I hope this series of messages sensitizes us to sin – of all kinds. So much is lost when we settle for less than God’s best. For this reason and so many more, I pray that my life and yours will be holy, just as He is holy (see 1 Peter 1:16).
