What is Project Next?
“Project Next” is an initiative of Crossroads Church to expand its outreach efforts to the next generation of kids and students as well as the next wave of Spanish speakers to our community.
Next Gen Initiative – Emphasizes the need to expand and improve facilities for children and students, as the community is growing rapidly. The goal is to provide excellent environments for children and student ministries to better serve and disciple the next generation.
Next Wave Initiative – Focuses on launching a Spanish-speaking church, “Crossroads Español,” to reach the growing Hispanic community. Cristian Ramos, a church member whose faith journey has led him to leadership, will spearhead this effort.
How can I be involved?
Be a prayer partner for our next generation ministries and the church plant.
Prayerfully consider being a financial contributor, with a goal of raising $150,000 and beyond over 18 months.
Serve in ministry roles to support children, students, and the new church launch.
Attend the kick-off banquet on March 30th, where Project Next will be formally launched.
What is the goal of Project Next?
At Crossroads, we believe there is always a next step! Whether it’s getting involved in a small group or becoming a part of a serving team there is always a next step. The same can be said for Crossroads as a whole. Project Next is our next step as we look toward the future focusing on how to help more people take their own next steps. With a focus on both the next generation and the next wave of people within our community Project Next is a commitment to helping others find their next step! For every next step is a step toward becoming fully trained disciples of Christ.

Why give to Project Next?
When you give to Project Next you are partnering with Crossroads and our commitment to helping others grow as disciples. Our children’s ministry is growing and with that growth comes a need for an improved children’s area. With an addition of a new classroom our kids can be better separated based on their growth level. We can create a better learning environment for our kids to hear and understand the gospel. Also within our community is a need for a Spanish speaking church. There are currently no Spanish speaking churches within the Jackson county area. As such a large number of people within our community are being overlooked when it comes to spreading the gospel. Christ calls us to spread His word to all people and nations and with your help we plan to do just that. The creation of a Spanish speaking church allows for more people to hear the gospel and help them grow in their relationship with Christ.
