About Our Church

Our Mission is to Be and Build Disciples of Christ.

Our Vision

Change Lives.

Changing lives is why this church exists. We know that God can and does change lives. He has been doing it since day one at Crossroads. We envision our entire community transformed by God as we passionately love God and the people of our community. We look forward to seeing more people connect with God, grow with others and share their God-given passion to our community and world.

Casual Atmosphere

Casual means you don’t have to put on a tie or clip one on your kid to feel comfortable at Crossroads. You can come dressed up or completely laid back. We believe that it’s not your clothes God is looking at, but your heart. It also means we’re a place where you can ease back into church without being pressured or judged. So, by all means, come as you are. No Perfect People Allowed!

Down to Earth People

We don’t want to be a friendly church. Yes, you read that right – the world has enough friendly churches – we are a church where you can make real friends. From a welcoming Sunday atmosphere, to our small groups that are always open to new faces, there are plenty of chances to connect with new people.

Practical Teaching

Crossroads services is designed for real life. Our goal is to connect the message to you and add meaning to your everyday life. You won’t find any churchy lingo – just the timeless message of Christ & its meaning in your life.

Our Beliefs

What We Believe about the Bible

The Bible is the inspired, inerrant, infallible word of God. It is our supreme source of truth.

2 Peter 1:20-21, 2 Timothy 1:13, 3:16, Psalm 119:105, Psalm 12:6, Proverbs 30:5

What We Believe about God

God is the creator and ruler of the universe. He has eternally existed in three personalities; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Genesis 1:1, Genesis 1:26-27, Genesis 3:22, Psalm 90:2, Matthew 28:19, 2 Corinthians 13:14, 1 Peter 1:2

What We Believe about Jesus Christ

Jesus is the Son of God. He is co-equal with the Father. Jesus lived a perfect life and died on a cross as a sacrifice for our sin and rose from the dead to be our Lord. He sits at the right hand of God and will return some day.

Isaiah 9:6, Matthew 1:22-23, John 1:1-5, John 14:10-30, Acts 1:9-11, 1 Corinthians 15:3-4, Romans 1:3-4, Hebrews 4:14-15, 10:10-14, 1 Timothy 6:14-15, Titus 2:13

What We Believe about the Holy Spirit

The Spirit is equal with the Father and Son. The Holy Spirit makes men aware of their need for Christ. He guides the believer and gives him power for living.

2 Corinthians 3:17, John 16:7-13, John 14:16-17, Acts 1:8, 1 Corinthians 2:12, 3:16, Ephesians 1:13, 5:18, Galatians 5:25

What We Believe about Man

Man is made in God’s image, but has been marred by sin, which separates him from God.

Genesis 1:27, Psalm 8:3-6, Isaiah 53:6a, Romans 3:23, Isaiah 59:1-2

What We Believe about Salvation

Salvation is a gift to man from God. It is a free gift; it cannot be earned. Eternal life begins the moment one receives Christ by faith.

Romans 6:23, Ephesians 2:8-9, John 1:12-13, 14:6, Titus 3:5, Galatians 3:26, Romans 5:1

What We Believe about Eternity

Man was created to exist forever. He will either exist in Heaven with God or separated from God in a place called Hell.

John 3:16, 1 John 2:25, 5:11-13, Romans 6:23, Revelation 20:15

What We Believe about Eternal Security

Because God gives man eternal life through Jesus Christ, the believer is secure in that salvation for eternity.

John 10:28-29, 2 Timothy 1:12, Hebrews 7:25, 10:10-14, 1 Peter 1:3-5, John 5:24

What We Believe about Baptism

Baptism is an outward sign of an inward change. Biblical baptism takes place after conversion, by immersion, as an act of obedience.

Matthew 3:13-17, 28:19-20, Acts 16:16-34, 2:38-41

What We Believe about the Christian Experience

The Christian life should be a life of holiness. Such a life cannot be lived out through a person’s own efforts, but rather as a by-product of the Holy Spirit’s presence.

1 Thessalonians 4:3-7, 1 Peter 1:15-16, Galatians 3:3, Romans 6:22
